Shadowhunters TV Show!!

Have you heard???? The Mortal Instruments series has finally become a TV show!! Yipee!!! I still have to read books 2-6 but I'm still a fan of the series! I'm currently reading City of Ashes so I'll get to the last book someday!

Anyway...About the TV show.....I have mixed feelings...I'm not sure how I feel about their choice of actors:

The person they chose for Clary...I don't think she's the best actor for feels a bit forced. What I mean is, she acts the way I act when I'm pretending to be in, like, a play or something. And I'm not a good actor. So...yeah. Her hair is way to perfect all the time! Like, she was running in the rain and before it got wet it was all perfect curls and everything and then, after? It looked exactly the same! Like, what? My hair would be so frizzy and definitely not that shiny so who are you trying to fool??

Jace is okay but I felt like he was trying to be too macho in the first episode. He dialed it down a bit in the second episode so I'm hoping it gets a little more realistic. His hair has been annoying the heck out of me! I don't understand why people think that kind of hairstyle is becoming the in thing... I especially hate it when it falls down and it looks like he has bangs. It looks so stupid when it does that...hahahaha....

Alec..he's pretty good. His facial structure is kind of how I pictured him in the book but not exactly. I still liked their choice for Alec. I would say he's a good actor...but I'm not a casting don't take it from me...hehe... She's okay...I guess. She doesn't seem that good of an actor to me. She has the personality down, I think.

(Dang, my actor reviews just keep getting shorter as I go down the list, hahaha)

Simon...YES! I think his face is perfect for the role! He seems like a good actor but I don't really pay that much attention to him so I might be wrong but I think his face, his persona, everything, really, are perfect! He's just...perfect for the role. I don't know how they found someone so perfect for the role but they somehow did it and I'm amazed. His face is perfect for the role and he is a GREAT actor!

~~~ that pretty much sums up the TV show review, hopefully you'll be seeing the book reviews up soon... I cannot wait until the Fallen movie comes out!!!
I'm really disappointed in myself... So...soooo sorry, my book-reading friends, to have kept you waiting this long. I actually have been catching up in my reading lately but not as much as before. I've read and completed:
》In the Afterlight
        >by Alexandra Bracken
》Clockwork Angel
》Clockwork Prince
        >by Cassandra Clare
And now, I'm currently reading:
        >by Scott Westerfield
》Clockwork Princess
        >by Cassandra Clare
Obviously I've been binge reading TID (The Infernal Devices) and can I tell you, I AM LOVING THEMMM!!! I cannot wait to do a trilogy review. I was thinking about doing that lately (a review of an entire series that I binge read) and I believe I'm going to do that for TID...
Side Note: The ending for In The Afterlight was, just, like, amazing. I don't even know how to explain it, it was so perfect. So, I guess what I'm saying is, READ THE DARKEST MINDS SERIES!! :)
Eleanor & Park
Hey, everyone!! I don't have enough time to write an extensive book review, but I do have time to tell you a little about a book I just finished! Obviously, from the title, you can tell that I read Eleanor & Park. The best I can explain it is by saying that it was a 'tragic love story.' I do have to say that the ending seemed a bit forced. It was as if Rainbow Rowell was running out of things to write, and tried to botch the ending. It was a happy ending, don't get me wrong, I just feel as though it could've been explained. All in all it was an amazing story and way better than what I expected it to be.
Science Fiction Sunday!
Hey, everyone! Today I came up with Science Fiction Sunday! This is a day where all we talk about is Science Fiction books!
So...where do we start? I think the first SF book I read was The Taking by Kimberly Derting. Apparently it's a series and the second book recently came out, The Replaced!
It was very good and I did not expect there to be another book!
I've also read the first two books in The 5th Wave series which were amazing! The 5th Wave is actually becoming a movie next year!
Another SF book (series, actually) I've read is the LUX Series, by Jennifer L. Armentrout! This is one of my favorite Science Fiction series! Daemon Black... *swoon*
And last, but certainly not least, Alienated, by Melissa Landers! I did not expect this book to be that amazing, but right when I started reading the first page I was sucked into their world!
I'm so sorry for the lack of posts on my blog! I've been super busy lately! I hope I can get more posts up!
What Am I Reading?
Hiya, people of the book world! I am currently visiting my grandparents right now, and have a lot of time to read, surprisingly! I just finished Cress, by Marissa Meyer, so I will be doing a book review on that when I get home. Right now, I am currently reading Crown of Midnight, Hunted, Dorothy Must Die, and In the Afterlight. All of them are great so far, but, sadly, Hunted is not as fast paced as the first book in it's series, Branded. But this is not a book review so I will include more on that in the review for Hunted when I finish it! :) That is all I can really say for today so I hope you all are enjoying your Summer of 2015! I know I am!
